Jo Riskin is a Lieutenant with the homicide division of the Grand Rapids, Michigan police department. She works alongside her partner and best friend, Lynae Parker. She has a kind heart and a soft spot for kids, but thoroughly enjoys being a badass.

She was happily married to the love of her life until he was killed in the line of duty. After two years she is still struggling to move on. His case remains unsolved and she won't rest until she brings to justice the person who destroyed her life.

Jo is a graduate of Ferris State University (Go Bulldogs!) with a degree in Criminal Justice - Law Enforcement Specialist option.
