Trudy is Jo's aunt (her mother's sister).  She has been married three times and is on the hunt for husband number four.  Since the death of Jo's husband, Aunt Trudy has been determined to help Jo find a new man.  Jo has no interest, and makes every attempt to avoid her "crazy" aunt.
